People talk about making a difference, Kids A.C.T. is about accepting the challenge to actually make the difference!!!

In 1993, Lauren created Kids A.C.T. and involved friends in assisting her with charitable services. “I believe there are a lot of young people who really want to make a difference in the world, but they don’t know where to begin.  Kids A.C.T. is designed to encourage people to make the first step towards helping their community.  It can be as small or large a step as they feel comfortable; but if we can encourage young people to realize how important it is to contribute to their communities, it’s likely they’ll carry that challenge through their adult lives, and I truly believe with each small step we can make a big difference. ” Lauren Lucas, Founder

What are We?

A community service group which is loosely organized to explore and help those in ones own community. You can work by yourself, or with as many people as you feel you want in your chapter. You choose projects of interest to you, for example: helping animals, improving the environment, helping the elderly, abused children, or the sick!

We are Young People who do Make a Difference...

...in our world, we have accepted a very real challenge. We do good things for our community;  we are caring young people, Kids and Teens ACCEPTING CHALLENGES TODAY! Founded in 1993 by Lauren Lucas. Where are We?

There are Kids A.C.T. and Teens A.C.T. members from many states in the US. Thru a newsletter written by Lauren, members are able to keep in touch and share their ideas with each other about community service projects and results that members have achieved! It's incredible to hear about the unique projects members have completed!

Why?

To look beyond yourself, and to see what you can do in your community (and the world) to try to make a Positive Difference, and to encourage other people to do the same!
